From the Collection:

In the Jaycees Collection, there are photographs of events, slides, VHS tapes, jackets, vests and buttons, banners, invoices, newsletters, membership chapter information, award forms, programs, volunteer forms, drawings, financial statements, and the chapter charter for the Cape Girardeau Jaycees. The bulk of the collection is from the 1980’s to 1990’s.

Abstract

This series includes planning documents, financial information, correspondence, promotional materials, personnel documents, newspaper clippings and articles, and awards for programs organized by the Jaycees including, Operation Toybox, Cape Girardeau Airshow, Golf Tournament Fundraiser, Riverfest, DSA Banquet, Kidcare ID program, Junior Jaycees, family picnics and float trips. In addition, the series contains programs for the Fabulous Follies, children’s drawings, Santa letters, donation lists, participant addresses, and thank you notes for Operation Toybox, a lease and contracts for the Cape Jaycees Municipal Golf Course, and buttons for the Jaycees campaign against smoking.
