Scope and Contents
This collection includes legal documents concerning the acquisition and disposition of land by the Himmelberger-Harrison Lumber Company, including deeds, warrants, and leases to lands in southeast Missouri and Arkansas. Additional records include contracts and correspondence with railroad companies, material on the Little River Drainage project, documents concerning the construction of the Himmelberger-Harrison Building in Cape Girardeau, and correspondence with other businesses. The records are arranged by county where possible, and by subject in other cases.
