Harry W. Gaines Manuscript
Photocopied typescript (14p) by Gaines entitled “South Spanish Street: I Remember it Well,” about his boyhood growing up on this Cape Girardeau street, in which he recounts the home and businesses located along Spanish between Independence and Morgan Oak Streets. Accompanied by photocopied newspaper clipping from Southeast Missourian pertaining to Gaines’ remembrances, which were printed in the newspaper.
