Biographical / Historical

The Administrative Council consists of the president, assistant to the president, provost, vice presidents, deans, heads of campus units and other high-level university administrative positions. The exact composition of the council varied over time. Subjects of discussion for the Council include hiring and creation of new positions, employee benefits, routine unit reports, maintenance, construction, new program offerings, budgets, holidays, summer camps, enrollment, athletics, crime on campus, scholarships, and other issues that required the attention of the president and high-level administrators.
