Files from the Alumni Departments (Alumni Services, Alumni Development, and Alumni Association) of Southeast Missouri State University. Files include photographs, news clippings, and information on homecoming gatherings, southeast Missouri museums, events and programs sponsored by Alumni departments. Files are mostly from the Alumni Association. Files include information on homecoming committees, homecoming queens, class reunions, Missouri and Illinois museums, Alumni Presidents, oldest living alumnus, and other Alumni Association materials.

Organizational Note

The Alumni Association of Southeast Missouri State University was created in 1925. Since 1925, the Alumni Association has been led by the board of directors, a group of committed alumni who take on leadership of the organization and work to promote its growth and effectiveness in cultivating the traditions of Southeast Missouri State University. The board of directors is currently comprised of officers and members from throughout the nation, who serve on a number of special, active committees. The Board is assisted by devoted staff members who work daily to implement the strategies outlined by the Board. Director of Alumni Services serves as president of the board of directors.
