Scope and Contents

This collection consists reports from the Office of Institutional Research about various aspects of Southeast Missouri State University. Office reports document information and statistics on faculty, students, and the university as a whole. The collection is arranged into three series: Raw Data Reports, Legislated State and Federal Reports, and Published Reports.

Biographical / Historical

The Office of Institutional Research is a service unit that provides management information and centralized reporting services to clients both within and external to the University. The information provided assists with decision making, policy development and the implementation of alternative solutions through a variety of analytic activities, data gathering, interpretation and research projects. In fulfillment of this, the office assists the institution in understanding the external environment, its opportunities and challenges to build on institutional strengths and values to aid decision-makers in setting directions which will guide policy and strategies to achieve the University's mission.
