Scope and Contents

Records are sorted into eleven series, the first pertaining to publications from the Provost and the remainder to committees or councils overseen by the Provost. Most series are sorted into subseries, usually including meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, proposals, and other relevant records. Smaller series have fewer or no subseries. Records are mostly arranged chronologically, but some have been sorted alphabetically when practical.

Organizational Sketch

The Southeast Missouri State University Provost oversees all academic programs and other academic functions at the university. He or she is in charge of various committees relating to the evaluation of courses and curricula, the creation of new programs, and the hiring and promotion of faculty members. A group of approximately five associates and assistants help the Provost to perform his or her duties.

The current members of the Office of the Provost, as of Fall 2011, are Dr. Ronald Rosati, Provost; Dr. Bill Eddleman, Senior Associate Provost; Dr. Christina Frazier, Associate to Provost for Data Analysis and Assessment; Jennifer Smith, Senior Administrative Assistant; Sue Ludwig, Senior Administrative Associate; and Carol Heizer, Executive Assistant.
