Abstract
Records primarily dealing with the proposed restructuring of Cape Girardeau County School Districts as a result of a Missouri state law passed 1949. Included are reports, correspondence, news articles, ballots, and voting results. Also included are lists of Cape Girardeau County teachers and school district clerks from 1947-1967, as well as enrollment statistics from those years. Additionally, there are copies of Cape Girardeau county records: the Assessment Book of Cape Girardeau County from 1911 and the Tax Book of Cape Girardeau County from 1911.
