Biographical / Historical
In November, 1906, with the faculty’s agreement, the school initiated a textbook exchange plan. This exchange system endured until the year 1915-1916 when the Board of Regents approved a rental system. The school tried the rental system on an experimental basis during the 1915-1916 school year and approved it for the following school year with the plan that it would continue as long as it was self-sustaining.
