Abstract

This collection contains materials related to the May 3, 2006 lecture given by Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia (1936-2016). Scalia was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1986 by President Ronald Reagan and had a conservative interpretation of the law. He was known for being a large supporter of free speech and for trying to undo Roe v. Wade. Included within the collection are event posters, media regulations and passes, and a Southeast Missourian newspaper section on Scalia.
