Wednesday Club Collection
Materials relating to the Wednesday Club of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a literary and public service club for women. The club was part of the Missouri Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs. The collection consists of minute books, photographs, memorabilia, roll booklets, Missouri Club Woman newsletters and scrapbooks.

The Wednesday Club Collection contains a significant amount of materials on women’s club history. Additional materials are on the advancement of women’s knowledge and women’s public service, and in particular, the development of the Cape Girardeau Public Library. The collection consists of minute books, photographs, memorabilia, roll booklets from 1902 to 1990, copies of the Missouri Club Woman newsletter from 1972 to 1990 (incomplete series), and assorted scrapbooks of the club.
