Abstract

Contains administrative records for the Cape Girardeau Jaycees. Materials include the charter, constitution, by-laws, meeting minutes, legal documents on the Cape Girardeau Jaycees Golf Course, and tax records (state and federal). There are also chapter records, organization newsletter, membership records, and published journals. This series contains the following artifacts: two banners, jacket, pennant, and a plaque.

Abstract The Cape Girardeau Jaycees Collection consists of its members’ information such as newsletters that are sent to current and former members. The collection also includes paperwork about the personnel involved with the Jaycees. Also included is information about the programs that the Jaycees have been involved in. Some of the programs mentioned are the Christmas Toybox, the Air Show, the yearly golf tournament, Riverfest, and the Fabulous Follies, an annual musical production that the Jaycees...

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

In the Jaycees Collection, there are photographs of events, slides, VHS tapes, jackets, vests and buttons, banners, invoices, newsletters, membership chapter information, award forms, programs, volunteer forms, drawings, financial statements, and the chapter charter for the Cape Girardeau Jaycees. The bulk of the collection is from the 1980’s to 1990’s.
