Materials relate to the creation of the State Historical Society of Missouri Research Center in Cape Girardeau. The subseries includes a campaign packet for the new center, the Memorandum of Agreement between SHSMO and SEMO, correspondence between President Dobbins and Stephen Limbaugh Jr. (President of Board of trustees of SHSMO), and notes and correspondence compiled by Dr. Lisa Speer. Materials date from 1998 to 2012.
