Scope and Contents
This collection consists of documents, notebooks, certificates, correspondence, digital and physical photographs, and digital videos. The bulk of the material is digital photographs, and materials from Peter Reckling’s course work as a student. Also included are some artifacts from the history of Southeast Missouri State University and Cape Girardeau. This collection is organized into five series: Biographical Materials & Personal Papers; Community Involvement; Courses & Coursework; Extracurricular Involvement & Activities; and Artifacts & Over-Sized Materials.

Abstract
Contains short-sleeved shirts from various campus events and organizations; SEMO branded gifts from Reckling’s service as an Academic Hall dome tour guide during Homecoming 2018; an antique State Normal School tea cup and saucer; a vintage Rich’s N’Orleans Restaurant glass ashtray; 2017 Missouri Main Street Historic Preservation month posters; Academic Hall slate roofing material; tiles and wooden candelabra wall sconce from the former SEMO International House (demolished January 2020); and a painting of Academic Hall on cardboard done by Emily Mohler in 2017.
