Some of these ledgers also include more general information on the school itself, i.e. total enrollment, expenses, and facilities. These ledgers were maintained by the school’s teachers and are primarily handwritten. School board records (2 ledgers) include meeting minutes, school board finances, board elections, and teacher contracts. The loose records are sorted by subject and include more school board meeting materials and teachers contracts, as wells as annual enumerations of district no. 1, which are sheets listing the names of students at the Graysboro school, their parents, ages and addresses.
