Scope and Contents
This collection consists reports from the Office of Institutional Research about various aspects of Southeast Missouri State University. Office reports document information and statistics on faculty, students, and the university as a whole. The collection is arranged into three series: Raw Data Reports, Legislated State and Federal Reports, and Published Reports.

Abstract
This subseries consists primarily of many Higher Education General Information Surveys (HEGIS) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) reports, surveys, and related correspondence dating from 1969 to 2001. These give information on student enrollment, employee salaries, university finances, degrees, awards, physical facilities on campus, the library, and staff members. The enrollment surveys often include data similar to reports in Subseries 3 and are organized in similar ways. Salary surveys include information on faculty benefits. The university finance surveys include information on funds and debts. Degrees and awards surveys list degrees and awards given to students and is organized by type of degree and basic demographics. Physical facilities surveys give information on classroom usage, student to faculty ratios, and space needed on campus. Library surveys give information on the library collections, salaries, positions, and development areas. Staff surveys provide comparative data on staff positions, salaries, and demographics.
