Records are sorted into eleven series, the first pertaining to publications from the Provost and the remainder to committees or councils overseen by the Provost. Most series are sorted into subseries, usually including meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, proposals, and other relevant records. Smaller series have fewer or no subseries. Records are mostly arranged chronologically, but some have been sorted alphabetically when practical.
