Biographical / Historical
Myers Hall is located directly behind Vandiver Hall, and is the only residence hall open all year. Built in1948 as an all-male dorm, it was remodeled in 1989, and again in 2001. Myers Hall is now a co-ed residence hall serving upper classmen and international students. It is also used for students staying during the summer term, and those who cannot return home during breaks. In was named in honor of Dean Vest C. Myers, who served the university from 1933-1945.
