Biographical / Historical
Grauel Building was completed in 1966 and was originally named the Language Arts Building. It housed classes and offices for the Departments of English, Speech and Theater. It 1975 it was renamed after Dr. H.O. Grauel, a long time English Professor responsible for the university’s journalism program. At various time it has housed the facilities for the KRCU radio station and the Channel 10 TV station. Attached to the building is the 500 seat Rose Theater.
