Minute books for Black Mask Dramatic Club, the student honorary dramatic society which was organized at Missouri State Normal School—Third District on October 22, 1913. Organizational Sketch

Organized as the “Dramatic Club” on October 22 1913 and later named the “Black Mask Dramatic Club” in the minutes on October 5 1921. Categorized as an honorary dramatic society, the Black Mask is currently the oldest honorary drama society on campus. To become a member one has to demonstrate academic excellence, consistency and quality involvement in theatre and dance, and must be voted upon by current members.
