Letter by P.K. Robbins from Ste. Genevieve, May 22, 1835 and Related Book
This collection contains a letter written by Prospect K. Robbins (1788-1847) of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri to Benjamin S. Brown Esq. (1805-1838) of Mount Vernon, Ohio. P.K. Robbins was a surveyor of the Louisiana Purchase, specifically the modern day counties of Audraine, Boone, and Callaway. The collection also has a textbook entitled "A Treatise on Surveying." The book contains information and techniques that are similar to what Robbins would have used in his profession.
Lewis Bock Diploma Collection
This collection contains 1 diploma case and three diplomas from the Bock Family. The diplomas date 1933, 1963, and 2010. Also included is a copy of an informational brochure on requesting donations for the Annual Fund for Southeast Missouri State University. It includes photographs of the members of the Bock Family who attended the school. These include Thomas Houston Lewis (1888), Catharine Lewis Bock (1933), Lewis Edgar Bock (1963), and Richard Lewis Bock (2010).
